Modeling And Lighting Low Poly Car - Acura NSX - Blender 2.8 Timelapse

The main project goal was to recreate an accurate 1-gen Acura NSX car model in a low poly style with all the necessary detail + interior. This is my second car project using new Blender 2.8 UI and new shortcuts. I finally get used to left-click select after using right-click select for years.

About The Project

I've used many real car reference images of Acura NSX on my second screen during the whole process. Using only blueprints is not enough to recreate an accurate car model in 3d. That's why you can see some pause moments during my modeling process because I always look to my second monitor to check what details I need to add and how they look.

The hardest part was to model the interior. Blueprint doesn't have much of the interior shown, so I had to use many interior reference images and use them when modeling all of the internal parts as a reference. That's why modeling the whole interior took me almost double the time than modeling the entire car with wheels.

Overall it was a pretty fun project. Learned a lot about the new Blender 2.8 interface and shortcuts.
